I saw him play twice in St. Louis and got an autographed picture. (Of course, I was a mere child!) He had a birthday earlier this week, turning 89. ~ Helen Burns Sharp in Tennesssee, where I grew up listening to broadcasts of the Cardinal games on radio station KMOX, "the voice of St. Louis."
