Steve Lundeberg

Steve joined the Democrat-Herald’s news staff in 1990, spending nine years in the sports department before moving to the news side. In addition to writing, copyediting and page layout, Steve is the host of “Today in History,” the newsroom’s daily post-deadline quiz game – come play if you want – and the curator of the “Hall of Shame,” a file-folder museum of gaffes published by the D-H and other papers over the years. Born in Seattle, Steve graduated from Rex Putnam High School in 1981 and Oregon State in 1985. He lives near Adair Village with his wife Roberta, their college-age children Bob and Pam, and a menagerie that includes dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and goats. In addition to animals, Steve likes sports, rock and roll, and riding his motorcycle.
